Armando Tejuca was born in Cuba in 1968. He graduated from the José Antonio Echeverría Polytechnic Institute with a Degree in Civil Engineering (1991)and from the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Art with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (1995). He has participated in numerous group and solo exhibits since his arrival in the USA. He has won awards and recognitions, and his work is in various institutions such as The Seam Museum, Jerusalem, Israel, Clinton Library and THEA Foundation, Arkansas, USA, Veracrúz Cultural Center, Veracrúz, México, and Contemporary Art University of Colorado Springs, Colorado , USA. This exhibit titled Personajes Pendientes is a look at those characters that he always wanted to bring to life in his canvases and had not done so until now. |
